Figure Side Border Strips: Measure from top to bottom of quilt top's
center, including seam allowances. Add twice the width of the border (including seam allowances) to allow for mitering.
Example: If quilt center's side measurement equals 50 1/2", and unfinished border width equals 2 1/2" (2 1/2"
for left side border + 2 1/2" for right side border = 5"), you will need two strips measuring 55 1/2".
Figure Top/Bottom Border Strips: Use same formula as Side Border Strips.
